145.330 MHz & 224.400 MHz & 442.950 MHz Norfolk Repeaters

The 145.330 MHz (-600 kHz input), 224.400 MHz (-1.6 MHz input), and 442.950 MHz (+5 MHz input) repeaters are co-located at a two-hundred foot site just north of downtown Norfolk, Virginia.  The 3 repeaters share the same controller and are normally linked together.

The 145.330 system consists of a Vertex VXR-5000 repeater interfaced to a Link Communications RLC-3 repeater controller.  The 224.400 system is a Maggiore HiPro 'E' repeater connected to the same controller.  The 442.950 system is a Vertex VXR-5000 repeater connected to the same controller.  Simultaneous transmit and receive for these repeaters is accomplished by use of TxRx duplexers.

An Autopatch is available on all 3 repeaters.  CTCSS 131.8 may be required to access the 145.33, 442.95, and 224.400 repeaters.

A remote base system and weather alert are included with these repeaters.

EchoLink access into 145.33/224.400/442.95 is available by connecting to W4VB-R (Node 311763).
